Women in Andhra Pradesh are set to receive another major benefit as the government prepares to roll out the Aadabidda Nidhi Scheme. Under this program, eligible women will be provided ₹1,500 per month as direct financial assistance, according to State Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha.

Speaking at the Sthree Shakti Abhinandana Sabha in Anakapalli district, the Minister highlighted that the coalition government is steadily implementing its "Super Six" poll promises. She pointed out that the government has already delivered on key commitments such as:

Now, focus is shifting to the Aadabidda Nidhi Scheme, where women will soon receive ₹1,500 every month directly into their bank accounts. To further ensure women's safety, CCTV cameras are also being installed in APSRTC buses.

The Minister emphasized that the government aims to empower women with financial independence and create large-scale employment opportunities. She noted that several new industries, including bulk drug units, steel plants, and toy manufacturing units, are coming up in Nakkapalli, which will provide jobs to nearly 25,000 women.

It is worth noting that during elections, the coalition government had promised ₹1,500 monthly aid for women under Aadabidda Nidhi and ₹3,000 monthly unemployment allowance for jobless youth. Citizens are now keenly waiting to see which scheme will be implemented first.
