PMAY 2.0: Centre Releases ₹405 Crore for Urban Housing

Andhra Pradesh Extends PMAY-G Beneficiary Survey Deadline to November 30 — ₹2.5 Lakh Houses for the Poor

Amaravati: Bringing relief to families who own land but cannot afford to build a house, the Central and State Governments have extended the PMAY-G (Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Gramin) beneficiary survey deadline in Andhra Pradesh to November 30, 2025. Eligible applicants can now submit their details at local village and ward secretariats.

Under this initiative, beneficiaries will receive ₹2.5 lakh per housing unit — with ₹1.5 lakh provided by the Central Government and ₹1 lakh by the State Government. The funds will be released in phases, based on the progress of construction:

To apply, residents must carry essential documents such as Aadhaar card, ration card, house site document, and bank account details to their nearest Gram or Ward Secretariat. The details will be verified and uploaded using the PMAY-G 2.0 mobile app, which ensures transparency and digital monitoring.

Officials will conduct on-site inspections and geo-tagging of each house to track construction progress. Payments will be released only after successful verification through a five-stage inspection process involving engineering assistants, divisional and executive engineers, and project directors.

The scheme aims to provide affordable housing for all eligible rural families in Andhra Pradesh, ensuring financial transparency and eliminating middlemen or delays.

Application Deadline: November 30, 2025
Where to Apply: Nearest Village/Ward Secretariat

Eligible families are urged to apply before the deadline to secure their housing assistance.
