In a major welfare move for the global Telugu community, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has launched a new insurance initiative titled "Pravasa Andhra Bharosa Bima 2.0." The scheme aims to provide financial security and emergency assistance to people from Andhra Pradesh who are living, studying, or working abroad.

The program, officially launched during the Chief Minister's visit to Dubai, will be implemented by the Andhra Pradesh Non-Resident Telugu Society (APNRTS). It ensures that every Andhraite abroad receives protection and support in case of accidents, health emergencies, or other unforeseen events.
Applicable for all individuals aged 18 to 60 years.
₹10 lakh financial assistance in case of accidental death or permanent disability.
₹1 lakh medical aid for accident-related treatment.
Support for transporting mortal remains back to India, along with airfare for an accompanying person.
Special benefits for women employees abroad - ₹35,000 for normal delivery and ₹50,000 for cesarean delivery.
Students injured abroad will receive airfare assistance to return home if unable to continue studies.
Workers/employees: ₹590 for three years
Students: ₹218 per year

Speaking at the launch, CM Naidu said,
"Every person from Andhra Pradesh working or studying abroad deserves security and assurance. This scheme provides high-value protection at a very minimal premium - it's a safety net for our global Telugu family."
