Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
Minimum 2–3 years of service in NCC Senior Division/Wing.
Must have secured at least a ‘B’ Grade in NCC ‘C’ Certificate examination.
Candidate must be unmarried.
19 to 25 years as on July 1, 2026.
Born not earlier than July 2, 2001 and not later than July 1, 2007.
Age relaxation applicable for reserved categories as per Government of India rules.
The selection will be conducted in the following stages:

SSB Interview (Two-Stage Process)
Stage I: Screening Test
Stage II: Psychological Tests, Group Tasks, and Personal Interview
Candidates who clear the SSB will undergo a medical examination. Final selection will be based on merit.
Selected candidates will undergo 49 weeks of rigorous military training at the Officers Training Academy, Chennai.
A monthly stipend of ₹56,100 will be paid during training.
After successful completion, candidates will be commissioned as Lieutenants in the Indian Army.
