Growing Need for the Scheme

With population growth in urban and semi-urban areas, the number of applications has been rising steadily. Collector Tripathi noted that proposals have been sent to increase staff for faster processing of claims.

She also highlighted the scheme's importance during a medical camp in Miryalaguda, where local MLAs, officials, and municipal leaders joined to raise awareness.

More Than Just Financial Aid

Authorities emphasize that the ₹20,000 assistance is not just emergency relief-it is also intended to help families continue children's education, manage daily expenses, and explore new livelihood opportunities.

"This scheme gives immediate hope to grieving families, helping them rebuild their lives with dignity," said the Collector.

The National Family Benefit Scheme ensures that no family is left helpless after losing its primary earner. Eligible households are encouraged to apply without delay and make use of this crucial support.
