The Mahtari Vandan Yojana has once again been approved by the state government. Under this welfare scheme, eligible women will receive ₹1,000 every month as financial assistance to help them manage daily expenses, improve nutrition, and become financially independent.
In the first phase of Mahtari Vandan Yojana, nearly 70 lakh women had already applied. Now, the government is preparing to launch the second phase of applications, through which women who missed earlier registration will get another opportunity to apply. The online application portal will be opened soon.
Under this scheme, women in Chhattisgarh receive the following benefits:
₹1,000 monthly financial assistance directly into the bank account.
Helps women meet daily household needs independently.
Supports better health and nutrition.
Encourages financial self-reliance.
Widows, divorced women, and married women from poor families can all benefit.
Reduces dependency on others for personal expenses.
To apply under this scheme, applicants must meet the following conditions:
Applicant must be a permanent resident of Chhattisgarh.
Age should be between 21 to 60 years.
Applicant must be married, widowed, or divorced.
Annual family income should not exceed ₹3 lakh per year.
No family member should be employed in any government job.

Download the Mahtari Vandan Yojana application form.
Take a printout of the form.
Fill in all required details carefully, such as:

District, Panchayat
Anganwadi Centre Name
Attach self-attested photocopies of all required documents.
Verify all details carefully and submit the form at the concerned office.
Women who prefer offline registration can apply as follows:
Visit the nearest Anganwadi Centre, Panchayat Office, or Block Office.
Collect the Mahtari Vandan Yojana application form.
Fill in all required details carefully.
Attach photocopies of necessary documents.
Submit the completed form at the same office.
The application will be verified by officials.
If found eligible, the applicant will start receiving scheme benefits.
