Sikkim Su Swasthya Yojana

The Government of Sikkim has expanded its Su Swasthya Yojana 2026, a comprehensive healthcare scheme that ensures cashless medical coverage for state government employees and their dependent family members. The initiative, launched under the leadership of Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang, aims to make quality medical care accessible without financial burden.

Under this scheme, employees can avail cashless hospitalization benefits across a growing network of top-tier hospitals in India. The state government has described it as one of the most inclusive employee healthcare programmes in the country, replacing the earlier system of medical reimbursements and referrals.

A Holistic Approach to Employee Healthcare

The Su Swasthya Yojana covers a wide range of medical services - from accident and trauma care to critical illnesses like cancer and infertility treatments. Beneficiaries receive treatment at empanelled hospitals through a fully digital and paperless process, managed by a team of qualified medical and technology professionals.

Officials say the scheme is designed not only to provide medical relief but also to uphold values of empathy, trust, innovation, and quality in public health service delivery.

Mission and Vision

The Chief Minister's vision for Su Swasthya Yojana focuses on making healthcare accessible, affordable, and transparent for all government employees. The mission emphasizes excellence in treatment, convenient access to hospitals, and a patient-friendly process from admission to discharge.

The programme aspires to set a national benchmark for employee health coverage through collaboration between hospitals, administrators, and technology systems.

Key Benefits and Features

The Su Swasthya Yojana also ensures transparent billing and quality monitoring through the Su-Swastha Facilitation Centre, which oversees care and coordinates with empanelled hospitals.

Registration and Login Process

To enroll, eligible employees must visit the official portal suswasthasikkim.com and select the "Enrol Now" option. Applicants can register using their mobile number and OTP verification.

The enrolment form is divided into two sections - Part 1 for employee self-enrolment and Part 2 for dependent enrolment. Employees are advised to fill in accurate details and upload necessary documents such as ID proof and relationship certificates for dependents.

In case of issues, assistance is available through info@suswasthasikkim.com or the helpline 9800347944.

Hospital Network and Accessibility

Currently, the Su Swasthya Yojana network includes a growing list of top-tier hospitals across India, with a target to reach over 400 partner institutions. Beneficiaries can search empanelled hospitals by specialty or location via the official portal's "Find a Hospital" section.

Transforming Healthcare for State Employees

Since its introduction in 2021, Su Swasthya Yojana has replaced the earlier "referral and reimbursement" system with a simplified, technology-driven model. The government says the scheme represents a major leap toward achieving "universal access to quality healthcare" for employees and their families.

Officials also highlight that the initiative promotes transparency, accountability, and compassion - setting a new standard for public-sector health coverage in India.
