Pension Amount:
SC beneficiaries (Taposili Bandhu) - ₹600 per month

To apply for the Jai Bangla Pension Scheme (Taposili Bandhu or Jai Johar):
Must be a permanent resident of West Bengal.
Must belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC) or Scheduled Tribe (ST) category.
Must be 60 years of age or older at the time of application.
Should belong to a household below the poverty line (BPL).
Should not be receiving benefits from any other government pension scheme.
